Leigh Landeche is the founder and CEO of ServiceHawk Digital Marketing, a Madisonville, Louisiana agency focused on HVAC, electrical, and generator contractors. With more than 30 years of marketing experience, he brings together a career in digital strategy and a firsthand understanding of family-owned service businesses.
Leigh began his marketing career in 1994 with St. Charles Parish Schools, when the web was still new to most schools. While attending J.B. Martin, he built the school's first website and worked on the school board's website. He went on to build Hahnville High School's website. His work helped bring these schools online and move the district's communication with students, families, and the community into the digital era.
He later joined NewOrleans.com, where he helped develop its digital presence and eventually became Senior Vice President. There, Leigh learned how to compete against large corporate companies with seemingly endless resources. That experience shaped an approach he still uses today: understand what makes a smaller company valuable, make it easy for customers to find and trust, and put marketing dollars where they can make a measurable difference.
Leigh received the Capital One Getting Down to Business Award for Business Management and Growth in 2017. He graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program in 2018 and served on the board of the American Marketing Association's New Orleans chapter in 2020.
Leigh's connection to the trades began long before ServiceHawk. Throughout high school, he spent his summers working in his late great-uncle's HVAC company. He hauled equipment, helped on installations, separated copper and aluminum in the scrap pile, and rode along on service calls. He saw firsthand the work behind a family-owned service business.
His great-uncle taught him that customer service is a promise. If an elderly or sick customer lost their air conditioning, the truck went out that day. He also taught Leigh that hard work is the baseline and that a trusted name is earned one job at a time by showing up, doing the work right, and standing behind it.
Leigh founded ServiceHawk to bring that standard to marketing. The agency builds accountable systems that help contractors turn visibility into qualified leads, booked jobs, and revenue. The strategies Leigh developed while competing with larger companies now help independent contractors stand up to private equity-backed competitors, without giving up their reputation, their independence, or their name on the truck.
